Water is a crucial element to balance our body, mind, and soul. If we look at the traditional ceremonies of cleansing, there is always a water element in the process. Unfortunately, some of us have lost connection with this element. Many of us do not feel comfortable with water anymore. So this is how our retreat is unique. We use water as the element to balance and rejuvenate the body, mind, and soul. Reconnecting to water means reconnecting our Self, and thus better wellness. How important that is in this pandemic!
Where is the location?
Floating Leaf Eco-Luxury Retreat is located near Purnama beach, in the middle of rice fields. It has a gorgeous swimming pool where we do our water training, and an open-air yoga studio at the rooftop. During our Sunset yoga, we can see the sunset on one side and Nusa Lembongan island on the horizon on the opposite side.
The venue has a breezy and airy vibe that helps participants to settle and get benefits from the retreat.
First of all, there is the yoga (asana) practice. We practice this at the rooftop, with 360 degrees open view to the ricefield, the ocean, and Nusa Lembongan island on the horizon. The type of yoga that we practice is Vinyasa Flow, based on Iyengar. This kind of yoga is focussing on alignment, great for all levels.
We also have a meditation practice in the morning. Although it sounds hard, it is actually not that hard! The reward is a calmer mind and an amazing breakfast, so wake up early and meditate!
The next focus is breathing! We will look at this breath, and optimize it for your wellness.
It’s not a water retreat if you are not getting wet. So we will jump into the pool and get personal with water. Lots of play, but you will learn – and absolutely will feel different with water.
Each individual will develop at a different phase, based on their start point. Some will need more physical works, some the mind work, and others the spiritual work.
It doesn’t matter where you are, you are alright – I’ll be with you guiding you for better wellness using the water element.
Let’s do this!
