Dancing with your breaths
In vinyasa yoga, each movement is synchronized to a breath. The breath is given primacy, acting as an anchor as you move from one pose to the next, called as sequence. This sequence will almost always include sun salutations. This class however, is unique, as it is also based on Iyengar teaching. This means, with the flow, we also focus on proper alignments. We prioritise alignment before movement. Combined with breathing, this is a powerful practice!
